Continues Fear of “the Other”- New York State and The Censoring of Critical Thinking in the United States – the Fear of “the Other”
This listing continues my effort to document to a small degree the rise of intolerance and fear of “the other” that has become pervasive throughout the United States. Entries are in reverse chronological order and cover book banning, exclusionary laws, and acts of hatred and bigotry perpetrated in North Dakota against people who are not white, Christian, of European ancestry, and heteronormative. As I always note, this is an illustrative and not exhaustive list. Sadly, anyone can find many more examples with little effort.
